WHEN FOOD IS POISONOUS

BIBLE LESSON: 1 CORINTHIANS 8:1-END.

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled. But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. But take heed lest by any means this liberty of your’s become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

WHY DO YOU INSIST ON EATING MEAT AND FISH?

Brethren, have you heard the contents of that passage?

Of all the Apostles, past and present, none can be compared to Paul. How many of you are vegetarians? When you are asked to refrain from eating meat you plead to do that gradually. What is the usefulness of eating meat? Read 1st. Corinthians 8:8

"But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither if we eat are we the better; neither if we eat not are we the worse."

Brethren have you heard that? Eating of meat serves no useful purpose. It does you more harm than good. In countries like Israel and India, most of the citizens are vegetarians. Soon the entire world will be filled with vegetarians. The practice of vegetarianism enhances your spiritual growth and affords an easy march and return to the garden of Eden.

You are very lucky people to have been called into this New Kingdom, the UNIVERSAL SPIRITUAL SCHOOL OF PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY which had been in existance long before now. Adam and Eve ate nothing except fruits. They lived well and were healthy, lacking no nutrients.

Now, I have two major ways of operation. One way is to allow you the liberty to do things at your own convenience. Another method is through compulsion. I plead with you everyday to refrain from fornication but you refuse to adhere to my injunctions. There are few persons who hear what I say and comply. For others who do not want to obey, I apply reasonable force on them.

The Holy Spirit has come not to give you any mundane thing because these are not the things that are scarce or essential to mankind. HE HAS COME TO CORRECT MANKIND FROM HIS WRONG DOINGS; TO CHANGE HIM FROM THOSE THINGS THAT CAUSE HIM SICKNESS, POVERTY, AND DEATH. HE HAS COME TO CHANGE MAN'S CARNAL AND TEMPORAL SKIN WITH AN EVERLASTING BODY.

THE PROBLEMS OF UNCERTIFIED FOOD:

You people consider the contents of the "First Steps to God" as a pack of impracticable teachings. In fact, you dismiss the instructions therein with a wave of the hand. But let it be known to you that a time is coming when all of you shall practise all the instructions in that book to the letter. Read Genesis 1: 26-29. So you will realise that in a not-too distant future, everybody will become a vegetarian. You will also come to discover that the numerous pains and sicknesses you suffer are caused by eating of uncertified food.

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the surface of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat."

You do not have the spirit of God in you because the things you eat suppress its growth. Was there any time God instructed Adam and Eve, or indeed any other person to kill and feed on animals, fishes or birds? Adam and Eve were vegetarians. They fed only on fruits and felt quite healthy and strong. All the assorted meals eaten these days were unknown in the days of Adam and Eve. That is the reason those people hardly fell sick. They had no deficiencies of any kind and they lived longer than the people of this age who are plagued with all kinds of diseases arising from licentious feeding.

Some enlightened persons worldwide are aware of what I am telling you now. They practise vegetarianism effectively. But those of you here, privileged to benefit from these teachings find it very difficult to believe, let alone practise them. Once you put these words into practise you will receive salvation. The meat, fish, and other foods you eat have their own spirit. These spirits perform different functions quite detrimental to the existance of the individual.

TAKE A CUE FROM THE WHITES:

The whites are more open minded and perceptive of the truth. If a white person comes in here, it will not take long for him or her to understand Brotherhood than some of you. They will understand you inside out. That is why the blacks always allege that God loves the whites more than the blacks. Once you are able to practise vegetarianism, you will regard those who eat meat and all kinds of food as being ignorant.

Why are your ears waxed and your mind hardened? Why do you continue in pains, sufferings, sorrows and death?

Read verse 1 of 1st Corinthians 8:

"Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth."

A local adage has it that which ever food a sick person finds delicious that he eats and dies. You pray and ask God for wisdom, the kind that He gave to Solomon. You fail to sit down and ask yourself what important thing the wisemen did to alter God's plan? When out of wisdom Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit, did they receive God's salvation? You have refused today to practise the word of God because of your wisdom. You are never tired of arguing why God should restrain mankind from doing one thing or the other.

Read Hebrews 4:5-7

"And in this place again, if they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not because of unbelief: Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, Today, after so long a time; as it is said, Today if you hear his voice harden not your hearts."

Brethren, have you heard that? It was because of their disobedience that another day was set aside unto them. And today is the day unto you to harken to these words and have salvation. Day after day, people are brought here in twos, threes, and fours. It is only when your stubborness persists that the force of the IRON ROD will be applied. But for now, I use love, gentle spirit, mercy, and other virtues of God with you. When the Iron Rod is used, you will see food and you will only be gazing at it but you cannot eat it. It is better to harken to God's instructions than man's.

The introduction of fruits as food to Adam and Eve was by God. Other food items were brought about by Satan. He also introduced the painting of the face and the rest of the ungodly acts by our womenfolk.

IT IS ONLY GOD WHO EXIST:

THE ALLEGATION THAT YOU ARE WORRIED BY JUJU, MERMAID, APPARITION, WITCHCRAFT ETC. ARE FALSE:

Read 1st Corinthians 8:4-6

For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern showed to thee in the mount.

But now thath he obtained a more excellent ministry by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises."

Do you now realise that it is God alone who exists and not any other thing? Is there any person to dispute the above passage? Or are you not told that you are worried by mermaid, etc.? You enslave yourselves to it so much that you become tired. ALL THESE THINGS MENTIONED BY VISIONERS DO NOT EXIST. The only truth is that anything acts or materialises according to your faith and belief. Of all the time you believed in mermaid, gods and served them, what have you benefited from them? WHAT YOU FIND IN BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR IS THE TRUE GOD. NO sacrifice is offered here. We burn no candles, but if you go to other denominations you will be forced to burn incenses and sacrifice unto idols. If you have negative beliefs, things will to you the same way. But if you believe positively, your life will also be positive.

You roamed about in the world all this while worshipping stones, trees, and leaves, yet, you saw no good. Have you not noticed remarkable differences in your life? Your body belongs to Our Lord Jesus Christ and thus should be pure and perfect. You are not expected to incise, rub or drink any concoction into your body. You have to maintain its purity. If you surrender yourself to be incised, you get yourself covered with darkness. All the concoctions you administer into yourself help to defile your body and make it vulnerable to diseases.

FOOD IS POISNOUS:

You people do not even know that the food you eat is poisnous. You therefore have to eat selectively. You must study your body's constitution and know what type of food suits it. Know this hidden fact that anything you take into your body has some effects on you. Many people have become blind, lame, leprous, dumb and deaf because of what they had eaten and injected into their bodies. There are certain foods you eat and your system reacts very differently and leaves you feeling very uneasy. That explains the reason why you have to be very careful of what you eat. If you are taken to an environment where the weather is quite different from the one your body is familiar with, you will become very uncomfortable until you become acclimatised. That is why many whites who come to Africa make it mandatory to be going home on holidays so that their environments do not look strange to them in terms of weather conditions on their return. Many of you attempt to time your feeding habits like the whites. If you get used to it, anytime you eat outside your schedule, you will suffer from indigestion. If you are a person not accustomed to travelling, the day you try it, you will end up in the hospital.

The whites who invented the various means of transportation do trek certain distances in the spirit of exercising the body. The human body can be compared to a car, which is subject to deterioration if not put to use.

The food you eat can be destructive to the body, if your body constitution does not accept a certain type of food but you force it, it will disturb your metabolic processes. It is just like a foreign national going to sit or interact with a group of people he does not belong to.

Read 1st Corinthians 6:12

"All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful unto me but I will not be brought under the power of any."

A lot of you today are used to certain habits like cigarette smoking, drinking, fornication and other vices. You have enslaved yourselves to these habits that you are now ruled by them. This should not be so. You are made by God to control these things.

Read Ephesians 4:11-20

"And he gave some apostles, and some prophets, and some evengelists, and some pastors and some teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind. Having the understanding darkened being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is  in them, because of the blindness of their hearts: Who being past feeling have given themselves unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But ye have not so learned Christ:

You are like the pig which after having a thorough wash goes back to the mud. When you undertake dry fasting, and after you go back to eat those dangerous foods; what is the purpose of sweeping the house in the first place and then going ahead almost immediatly to make it dirty?

BE CLEAN AND SIN NO MORE:

This place could be compared to an enviable farm land but surrounded by dirty swamps and a spring. After working in the farm, you wash yourself in the clean water, and on your way back, you play in the pond around the swamp. You leave your various homes filthy and dirty, on reaching here, you receive the words of truth, but the moment you return home, you swim again in your mine.

You are told to refrain from fornication, drinking, anger, quarrelling, fighting, and the rest of the vices. While here you will be sober and repentant but the moment you leave this place, you forget entirely about all that you have been told. What usefulness is it for you to stay here for hours everyday? I have released the key to this kingdom and I have taken you to the accurate knowledge of the truth, so you should emulate me. Despite the length of time I stay with you, I have never been influenced by your attitudes. I am like a bottle filled with water and securely cocked and dipped inside water. No matter how long the bottle stays inside the water, it cannot admit water into it. Do you know the key I am talking about?

Read Romans 6:16

"Know ye not, that to whom ye yeild yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"

IF YOU LISTEN ATTENTIVELY TO THE TEACHINGS OF THE HOLY FATHER YOU WILL HARDLY BE DECEIVED OR MISLED. If somebody informs you of what another person said against you, if you do not show any interest in what the person said, he will go away defeated, and never come back to you. But if you encourage him and listen to what the person said, you stand removed from the path of righteousness. It is like planting some seeds in a garden and another person comes around and uproots them and plants his own.

IF YOU ALLOW THE WORDS OF GOD PLANTED IN YOU TO GERMINATE AND GROW IT WILL TAKE CONTROL OF ALL SITUATIONS IN YOUR LIFE. IF YOU WALK IN THE COUNSEL OF THE UNGODLY OR SIT IN THE SEAT OF THE SCORNFUL AND LISTEN TO WHAT THEY SAY AND APPRECIATE IT, KNOW THAT EVIL COMMUNICATION HAS BEEN PLANTED IN YOUR HEART AND YOU ARE LOST. The "seed" may not germinate immediatly it is sown but shall germinate and grow in the future. If you participate in any evil communication, where someone tells you all sorts of evil things, the things are not carried away in the air but accommodated in your heart where they will remain and develop. This goes to prove how dangerous it is to keep bad company. Once you are introduced to anything evil and you do not hasten to dismiss that person and warn him of his evil act, you stand influenced by him.

PRACTISE THE WORD OF GOD AND EMULATE CHRIST:

I have taught you so that you should attain the wisdom of truth. This place is akin to an educational system which ranges from primary to university level. It is only at the university level that a scholar reads to such an extent that he is a master of his profession. That is to say a level at which he can never be deceived or fooled. In the way of God, you are shaken and troubled and can be misled, because you have not acquired the skills and you have not attained Christhood. In other words you have failed to believe in the word of God and practise it. But when you listen to the word of God, and receive His teachings, you will become firm and nothing can shake you.

The attainment of mastery level in any worldly profession is not our point of emphasis. This is because people have been masters of professions and societies that lead them to death. We are talking about the attainment of Christhood and mastery of yourselves in the way of God, so that you can hardly be shaken or be deceived. Take the case of our Lord Jesus Christ for example. The people said all sorts of things against Him falsely- that they know His father and mother how poor they are and all that. But since He knew Himself, His mission and destination, He was not distracted by what people said.

The entire world knows this today that there is no amount of talking and persuasion that can distract or divert the attention of a true Brotherhood member. Rather, it is a member of Brotherhood that can easily convert people. That is the reason they, Brotherhood members are feared wherever they are. Your knowledge supersedes that of the world because I taught you and led you to the accurate knowledge wisdom of truth. All the worldly learning and institutions, including the orthodox church denominations, lead mankind to death and destruction. There is no worldly teaching that can lead you to freedom except that of Our Lord Jesus Christ. If you follow any other teaching, you are doomed.

Read 11 John 1:9-11:

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him Godspeed is partaker of his evil deeds. And what agreement had the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God, as God hath said.

TITUS 3:9-11

But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law, for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is herectic after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Read 1st Corinthians 4:11

Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and we are naked, and are buffeted and have no certain dwelling place.

IF YOU ASSOCIATE WITH SOMEBODY YOU KNOW IS A THIEF, SWINDLER AND THE PERSON HAPPENS TO DUPE YOU, WHOM WILL YOU BLAME? If a magician asks you to call him a duper, a thief and a swindler and you call him these names, if he manifests any of the acts on you, whom will you blame?

That is the problem you have here in Brotherhood. IF YOU KNOW THAT SOMEBODY IS A FORNICATOR, A THIEF, AN IDOLATOR, AND A DOER OF OTHER VICES, WITHDRAW YOURSELF FROM HIS/HER COMPANIONSIP SO THAT HE WILL NOT INFLUENCE YOU. FOR IT IS SAID THAT PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. Personally if I know that you are that kind of an evil person, I will keep you at arms length though I will provide whatever you want.

Do you believe that? Had you known that somebody you trust is a rogue would you have given him your money to keep for you? The introduction of testimonial in public and private activites is meant to ascertain the character of persons. For instance, before somebody is employed or admitted into an institution of learning, somebody has to vouch for his character. If you are given a bad testimonial indicating that you are a doubtful character, you are sure of not having the employment or admission anywhere.

Most of the Reverend Fathers, Bishops, pastors, etc. are heavy drinkers and smokers, fornicators, idolators, necromancers, and doers of other vices. If you therefore associate with them, they will influence you. There is no church denomination that seeks God. They are only seeking their daily bread. If you follow these people, you will fail. Many of the Cardinals, Bishops are themselves traditional chiefs and kings. The question now is can one servant serve two masters?

I have sent you out to go and work. You have a kingdom here, and so you should not seek any position in the world. You do not have to mingle with the people of the world.

Read Collosians 4:5-6

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with the grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Read 2nd Corithians 6:16-18

And what ageement hath the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate. Saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

The surprising thing is that all the so-called big men, the ministers, commisioners, presidents, and their colleagues are Elders and hold big positions in the church but they also support and encourage the growth of customs and traditions that are ungodly. They like to answer all the big names in the church but they will not do anything commensurate with thes names.

If you want to associate with the people of the world you have to be very careful, they have nothing to offer other than to drag you into drinking, fornication, stealing, anger, hatred, and the rest of the vices. They do not do anything which gives glory to God.

Read Matthew 10: 16-20

BEHOLD I SEND YOU FORTH AS SHEEP IN THE MIDST OF WOLVES: BE YE THEREFORE WISE AS SERPENTS, AND HARMLESS AS DOVES.BEWARE OF MEN: FOR THEY WILL DELIVER YOU UP TO THE COUNCILS, AND THEY WILL SCOURGE YOU IN THEIR SYNAGOGUES. AND YE SHALL BE BROUGHT BEFORE GOVERNORS AND KINGS FOR MY SAKE FOR A TESTIMONY AGAINST THEM AND THE GENTILES.BUT WHEN THEY DELIVER YOU UP, TAKE NO THOUGHT HOW OR WHAT YE SHALL SPEAK FOR IT SHALL BE GIVEN YOU IN THAT SAME HOUR WHAT YE SHALL SPEAK. FOR IT IS NOT YE THAT SPEAK, BUT THE SPIRIT OF THE FATHER WHICH SPEAKETH IN YOU.
