"For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich."

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;"

"And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues."

Brethren the wording of that spiritual chorus is the theme of our revelation this morning. And the downfall of the entire universe hangs on this. Even wherever peace reigns it cannot work, but once the Father arrives and distributes the gifts then the work starts in earnest. Right now a question is asked, why there are diversities of gifts. Have you examined yourself to discover which one is yours? This has been all the problems plaguing the entire world. In this Kingdom of God there are diversities of gifts. This explains why certain persons demonstrate, at certain times, different talents and abilities, because they have been endowed with various gifts by God and it is these twelve powers of man that Christ has lavishly distributed to every person in the world. I have told you repeatedly that Brotherhood is neither a church denomination nor a service center, nor a school, nor any other thing you can think of in your imagination, but it is the Kingdom of God. And in his own Kingdom he has imparted this gift to various persons. He has given one to one direction, he gives to another in another direction. And therefore, we should not fold our hands and remain at one place, and continue to gather at one place, it will not serve us any useful purpose. Rather it is for us to go out and then distribute such gifts to those who are not as fortunate as ourselves.

In the first place, if you are not endowed with these gifts, you have no share in this Kingdom of God, and you are not one of those elected into this Kingdom of God. Secondly, if you do not know what is your gift, it means you will be floating about. Thirdly, if you do not use your gift according to the purpose it was given to you by God, it means therefore that you are a child of perdition. Can you realize why I continue to tell you that you do not yet know yourselves? And in this Kingdom of God, you alone cannot do anything, two of us cannot. There is therefore, the division of labour, since each person is given his own direction, another is given his own gift. And so we must use this in promoting the work of God in his Kingdom because only the king knows the secrets of his kingdom. You have not been endowed with this gift so that you should confine it only in Nigeria, or in any other place within Africa.

You will also commit a hideous crime if you say, He is the God of Nigerians. If you also say He is the God of the world, you have also erred. The position with Him is that, He has neither the beginning nor the end. He has been the God who art, and who is and who will continue to live forever. (Revelation Chapter 16 verse 5). Do not seek to know the size of this God, His height, His robustness or any description about Him. It is what you have heard this morning that you must put into practical demonstration. It is said: even though He was a very rich person, but because of me, and because of the inhabitants of the world, He became poor that we all might become rich. When we hear about the gift of God, many people wrongly think that this gift relates to owning houses, owning children, owning motor cars, and owning any other material things in the world. No, this is not so; rather the unfortunate situation is that all the inhabitants of the world rather pursue after these vain material things of the world. And that is why you see all the institutions in the world failing, the church denominations, the government, the society, the villages, the towns, the cities and the communities, and everything man puts his hands to doing has been a failure.

Have you not seen the example shown, the twelve ministries, symbolic of the twelve disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ also complying to the twelve powers of man. Do you rather think it is that easy to set up a government? And that is why it has been a failure for all the church denominations, for the government and every other person because no person has been able to decipher what is his gift. You, who claim that God is in your church denomination, what is your gift? That is the source of problems for the people of the world. The twelve Apostles had their various gifts. There was no encroachment on any other person's gift, each one was given his own gift. That was why there was enlightenment and growth and development in the work of God.

The people of the world are blind, and deaf and dumb. After the Apostles had been killed, we came to the dark ages, during which whoever killed must himself be killed. That is why the whole world was plagued with absolute poverty and problems. Whatever God had planted; no one can uproot. There is the existence of these twelve gifts of God, and it is through these gifts that the Kingdom of God is built up.

What is the real significance of the twelve gifts? They symbolize the twelve tribes of Israel. What other thing does it signify? It also symbolizes the twelve months of the year. What does it symbolize again? It also signifies the twelve disciples, the twelve Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. What is the other meaning? It also symbolizes the twelve ministries. You know what is referred to as ministry when you take up one. There are so many embodiments in one ministry.

If you take the ministry of preaching the word of God, as you know that the word of God must be preached; and that alone can contain so much that there must be appointed somebody who controls that ministry of preaching. When you take another department, or another ministry, the visioners, those who see and those who speak out. If you compare that ministry with whatever happens in the world, it is greater than the world. And those who own real wisdom, the intelligent ones, those who are so knowledgeable even if you cough they can easily decipher what you are saying by your coughing and that alone contains a lot. There are those who remain in the ministry of power, they are so vested with power that they can at any time demolish anything in the world; that department also is bigger than the world. And there is another ministry whose function is to give life. Even if things die, they have the power of resuscitating and giving life to such things and that department is also a large one. There is another department, the department of love, all those who are in that department, they only show the expression of love. No other thing stands before them. They continue to show the expression of love. Wherever there is no love, their function is to give love to such places, wherever they go to, they are the embodiment of love and they have to show forth to all those who have no love that they are the embodiment of love.

I want you to know and ponder over this issue, how a single fellow can single-handedly establish a kingdom. And that is why the Bible has clearly said that when He comes these signs will be shown through Him. And that is why I say that you do not know yourselves. You go about causing confusions and troubles. Which one is your gift? If you have been able to know it, bring it forward and let us know you through it. It must be seen that all elements of illness will be taken away. Elements of stupidity and ignorance must be taken away. Whatever is crooked will be made straight; and with all these situations revised, we will not have any more problem.

There is another department, the ministry of faith. Wherever people have no faith it is the function of this ministry to put forth faith to such persons, even people who have not any belief in anything. Yet these have a duty of giving faith to such persons that they may believe what hitherto they did not believe. There is ability, there is power and there is concentration where, if you had hitherto not got concentration, then this department can bestow it on you, and you begin to show concentration. That is why I tell you that in this Kingdom of God there are diversities of these gifts. Indeed, from the day you are baptized into the Kingdom of God, God poured on you these gifts. But I want to ask, where have you kept your individual gifts?

If you have not got these gifts, then where are you? This is why the scriptures have told us that except a man be born of water and of spirit he cannot come into the Kingdom of God. (John Chapter 3 verse 5) For example you remain with somebody, and you do not know what is in his heart. No person can detect what is in his heart. If you remain in such a situation it means you don't know God. You may remain with somebody, but you don't know what to do exactly to reform or change the person. It means you have failed in the gift which God has given to you to use. You remain with somebody for hours and hours without the ability to communicate with him so as to connect you two together. This simply means that you suppressed your gifts. There are twelve gifts, and these twelve gifts have surpassed everything in the world. They reign supreme. In fact, without these gifts there is nothing any person can do. Once you are bestowed with this gift of God it will not serve you any useful purpose if you remain ignorant of yourself, your environment, your fellow man, and your God. You cannot come across somebody and ask him, where do you come from, where are you going to? What is in your heart or what are you trying to do? If you are bestowed with this gift you will be able to decipher what is in man's heart, you would know everything about man and indeed everything around the world. No person needs to tell you what happens in a place.

These gifts were the bona fide property of our Lord Jesus Christ, and it was with those twelve powers that he subdued everything in the world. All powers were vested in him. All knowledge on earth and in heaven was found in him. He was the embodiment of eternal life, all types of light; illumination so bright that you cannot focus your eyes unto it. He is the custodian of that illumination, and power that can subdue all principalities and powers. He is the custodian of faith, such that if he comes in here, even for those who have no faith, he will infuse his faith into them that they become those with very strong faith. This explains what happened during his triumphant entry into Jerusalem when the people called on him to forbid his disciples from shouting. He told them that even if these should hold their peace, the stones would certainly and immediately cry out. (Luke Chapter 19 verse 40) Do you think it is finished when somebody dresses up to say that he wants to do the work of God? Certainly not. But it is only when he can either infuse or endow you with his power. That is where and when you begin to work, and that is when you know who is who.

You have not exhibited what our Lord Jesus Christ gave you; or manifested all the gifts He endowed you with. Consequently, the world claims that their particular church is powerful, while others claim how best they can preach. But I want to tell you that the power and the challenge of the smallest child in Brotherhood cannot be matched with the inferior power of the world. Neither can anyone in the world stand the challenge of the smallest child in Brotherhood. Every time you are talking about the fact that such and such person has the power of healing, the other person has the power to preach, the other person has such like power. But I want to tell you here that even with all these powers that you have been endowed with, your problem is that you don't want to sit quietly and take time to discover what gift God has given to you.

Do you think that these fellowships are established by man? He is the only person establishing all these fellowships which represent the various ministries and departments. One ministry is so large that it is divided into departments, divisions, units and so on to such an extent that it covers the heaven, the earth, and even the abyss. You should leave each man to his own ways and mind your own business. Let everyone mind his own business too.

When you come across a very good visioner, you may allege that the person does not, without the help of necromancing, see visions for nothing or that he was a wizard. You argue that no single person can see visions. It is only those who have four eyes who are able to see visions. When you come across somebody who has the power of healing, he prays and a sick person is well. Others will begin to argue that he has mixed another power with the power of Brotherhood? There is no mixture at all. You are only trying to say this because if you cannot get at anything, you rather choose to refer to it as a sour thing. I am saying all these to your shame because the necromancers, the juju doctors and members of secret society, are always complaining that Brotherhood has rendered all their diabologies impotent, and useless. What other power can you use to suppress such a thing apart from the built-in power God has endowed you with?

A certain person they called director of music once came to me and asked that I should give him people to be trained as musicians so that they can come back and teach music. I laughed and fell on the ground, and he asked what I was laughing at, so I told him I was laughing because he did not even know how to sing. Moreover, there are so many people who have been endowed with that gift of composing and singing, and doing everything about music that he should rather bring people to be trained here. And you can now realize that singing is a department of its own. And if you are not given that gift you cannot compose and you cannot sing.

Can you see what is in Brotherhood, the intricacies of it, such that you do not know and many others do not understand? If we take one department like that of vision, you would observe that somebody is given the gift of seeing things above. Another person is given the gift of seeing things on earth. Another person is given the gift of seeing things below the earth. Another person is given the gift of seeing things inside water, another person is able to detect what is in a man's body. There are others who are gifted in this department of vision. Somebody who has been given to see the smaller things such as, some types of diabologies and diabolical means everywhere inside the soil, and inside water. Somebody has the power of bringing up anything inside water, and another person has the gift of jumping into water in order to bring it out. Others can merely stand. Since they have not been endowed with the gift, they cannot go inside water. There is another person who has the gift of healing. If a sick man is brought to him he will say: "stand there, look at the type of disease you are suffering from, you are going to be given injection, you are going to be given tablets." He does not even touch him, and he will become well, and the man will even share his feelings and experience when he is receiving the injection.

There is another within the same department, a miracle worker. When a sick person is brought he can touch any part of his body, and will bring out a snake; or he can touch the head and bring out some charms; or any other part of the body and bring out anything which is there. There is another department, the department of tongues. Here, somebody may know many languages and can interpret these to others. And when you cannot do as he is doing, you begin to argue and allege so many things. But I want you to always keep silent and see what God is doing because he has given these gifts to every person. Find out which is your own and use it properly.

Teaching is also a gift, once you are given that gift of teaching, you teach people and they understand. And if you are not endowed with it, there is nothing you can do in order to teach people.

There is another gift, that of rendering assistance, benevolence and generosity. You may have millions and millions of naira but if you are not endowed with that gift of giving, it will be impossible for you to give out any kobo of yours to another person. But once you are endowed with it you will always give out to the needs of the poor. Whatever you see somebody doing in this Kingdom that has been his ultimate gift. In fact this is beyond any person's understanding and that is why you should be quiet every time and remain humble. None of us is anything. Even an ant, the smallest that we can see, is greater than any of us. Right now as you are sitting down here you don't know what has been your endowment. And that is why the scriptures have asked you, what is it that you have which you did not receive. If you have received everything that you have, why do you begin to boast? Don't you know that at any point in time that gift can be taken away from you? These are various gifts distributed by the Spirit. You can be given the gift of having children, or you are given the gift of having money, or being powerful, or faithful. You can be given the gift of love, or that of power, or that of humility, or that of might or any other. And once you have been given it, you should be satisfied with that.

There are certain persons whose gift is that of giving children to other people. Even if you are a barren woman, as soon as you approach such a person, and he or she will say: go, you have been given a child and it will be fulfilled according to what he or she has said. There are others who have been given the gift of resurrecting people who have died. Even somebody who died for two days or four days, or one week, as soon as he pronounces and says: "Rise up!", the dead person will rise up. There are others who are given the gift of restoring sight to the blind. Even when people are blind for twenty or more years as soon as they approach and say: "Go, your sight has been restored", it will so be restored. There are others who have been endowed with the gift of wealth. Even if they come across a person who is poor and wretched as a church rat, once that person says: "Go, from now on you are rich", such persons will become rich. The gifts we are talking about are not the physical gift but spiritual ones. And that is why in Brotherhood you have no fixed place, and you do not stay at one place for so long. We have to go about, walk about, because as we go about we display those gifts God has endowed us with.

If you have been given the gift of walking about, or touring, that is your gift. Abide by it. If you have the gift of preaching then you should take that one to yourself. Whatever endowment God has given to you, you should apply yourself to it. Even the type of song you sing, this is exactly what applies to every individual, if you realize that you have been endowed with several gifts, then you are to study which one is your own and stand by it. Some people complain that in their bethels people have no love, or that they do not associate, therefore they can't do anything there and that is why you have to go from one place to the other. You must know that somebody with the endowment of love if he enters into such a bethel without touching any person, without saying even a word, that spirit of love will manifest in the bethel; and even when he returns to where he had come from, that spirit of love will still continue in that bethel.

Sometimes you go to a certain place you find that people do not have faith, they complain left, right, and center, but somebody who comes out from the department of faith, if he goes to such a place without talking, and without doing anything, the people there will actually imbibe that spirit of faith in themselves. Sometimes you go to a place and you find people there have not been endowed with the gift of vision, they complain, and are sitting down just like that. But if somebody comes from the department of vision and goes in there, as soon as he goes, that spirit of vision will manifest throughout; and people will begin to give visions in that place. Some people complain that they have no spirit wherever they are. They are always complaining and they are sitting down like that. However, somebody from the department of spirit goes there. As soon as he leaves the people will be endowed with that spirit coming out from him.

The diversity of gifts here is the reason why people claim there is much power in Brotherhood; and this is true because these gifts, these departments, and these ministries are poured on us by God. Not only on you, but on all the inhabitants of the world these gifts had been poured upon them. And as you are here and you do not know your gifts so it is with others who are outside here. They too do not know their gifts. If you are endowed with the gifts of seeing the things of this world, you will normally see people flocking into such a place because he will see wizards and witches and diabolical things and he will touch you at one side and say it is hurting you here or there. And people will flock into such a place. But he cannot see more than that.

People may also rush on to another place where there is the spirit of healing. And once a sick person goes to such a place he is healed. Once this is wrought, many people will normally go there. But the question is, after your healing what other things can you do? You may go to another place where there is a spirit of generosity, rendering aid to people, many people will normally flock to such a place so that money is distributed to them. But apart from distributing money to them there is no other gift or other spirit that is working there. There is no faith there, there is no healing, there is no vision, and it does not serve any useful purpose to stick to this department alone. Since there is only one God and only one Lord, and we are all one flock under one shepherd, we have to come into communion one with another whatever we are in the world, not discriminating between the church denominations or between the necromancers, or any other persons in the world, since we have been endowed with all these gifts for the benefit of all mankind.

Don't claim you own any bethel because you have money and you refer to that bethel as your own bethel. If it is only because you have money, what about faith? How do you bring in people there? What about healing? How do you heal people? What about other things? Don't begin to boast because you extract charms from people's bodies. After all, you have not been able to heal any person. You can extract so many things from somebody's body and yet that person is still sick. You should realize that this person who extracts charms from people's body is only a miracle worker, he is not a healer. If you are a healer be mindful that you cannot see vision and extract charms at the time while you are a healer. If you are a healer, once you go to a place where people are sick that spirit will start its work and will do the healing spontaneously. Brethren, as I do not want to overload you, the first lesson will now be read.

First Bible Lesson: 2nd Corinthians 8:9
"For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich."

Brethren, you have heard what has been read to you. Therefore, it is a mistake as he has said, "verily, verily, I say unto you that, whoever believes in me the works that I do will he do also; and greater works than these will he do." (John Chapter 14:12) How can you do greater works than he has done, whereas he is the person doing everything? Refer to the twelve Apostles, many people always argue that they had served God more than any other person. I don't see what they had done because it was our Lord Jesus Christ alone who did everything.

Like Apostle Paul had said; I am the least of all the Apostles but I have served more than any other person and that is true. (1st Corinthians 15: 9-10) Who has given him that spirit of serving more than any other person? It was God who had given him that power and that spirit to serve. Peter was the key bearer, but who was actually this key bearer? It was our Lord Jesus Christ. He was able to give faith, to bestow faith and spirit on people. Who could do this but our Lord Jesus Christ? He was representing our Lord Jesus Christ. If you begin to count all the disciples, note that they were all the embodiment of our Lord Jesus Christ. He bestows these gifts unto people as He likes. He bestows to one person in one way and to another differently, and so you should not become a stumbling block to any person.

Continue to operate with your own gift. It is because you try to hinder another person from using his own gift that you suffer. You should allow every person to operate with his own gift. It is not easy to open a healing home. It is also not easy for you to heal a sick person. The mere caring for a sick person yourself is not easy if you have not been endowed with that gift. Especially if merely seeing a sick person being brought to you, is capable of making you faint. It is the same with preaching. You will not be able to open your mouth to say anything. You have to be careful of yourselves. Use your gift for the purpose God has given to you. Don't hide any of your gifts, and don't criticize. This is the end of time, and people are given to operate according to their talent. There are those who are seeing things quite near, those who are seeing things of this world, and there are those who see things very far away. Their predictions will come true in twenty years or in fifty years or in a thousand years. These are the people who see far. There are some persons who have been endowed with the gift of farming. There are others who have been endowed with the gift of idleness. They don't have anything to do, and so these farmers will normally refer to them as idle persons. Do not mind them, for that is their gift. Those who have been endowed with the gift of preaching, some farmers will always regard them as people who idle about, and that God does not forbid any person from cultivating the land.

If you have been endowed with the gift of marrying and trading and looking after a bethel, don't complain that they are too tedious for you to continue to do what God has endowed you with. Our Lord Jesus Christ passed through the mouth of St. Paul to say, "I am zealous that everyone of you should be as I am but God distributes his own gifts according to the spirit of a man." (1st Corinthians 7:7). Since He is God He distributes His gifts to every person. He has given to one, healing; and to another, vision; and again to another, preaching etc., because He Himself is everything. He is the tree, water, stone, and everything; and no one person is responsible. No one should use his own gift to disgrace the other person. There should be cooperation.

You will agree with me concerning what happened when our Lord Jesus Christ saw the blind man Bartimaeus. He knew what Bartimaeus was looking for but merely asked him; what is it that I should do for you, and he said if you like, restore my sight. (Mark 10:46-52 / Luke 18:35-43) And our Lord Jesus Christ replied, I like it, I have accepted. Receive your sight. He didn't say anything, but he said receive your sight. And he saw another person who was blind,he was born blind. (John 9:2) People asked, was it because of the sinfulness of his father and his mother that he was born blind? And he answered and said it was not through the sin of his mother or his father that he was born blind, but he was born blind that the glory of God might be made manifest. In this second instance of the blind person our Lord Jesus Christ did not ask what is it that I should do for you? But he rather spat on the ground and made a spittle out of it and used his fingers and then anointed his eyes. As if that was not all, he told him, go and wash in the pool of Sidon. When he went and washed in the pool of Sidon he received his sight.

And I want to ask you, who caused him to receive his sight? Look at these three situations, was it because our Lord Jesus Christ spat on the ground and used his finger in anointing his eyes that made him receive his sight? Or was it because he went to wash in the pool of Sidon that caused him to receive his sight? He used all these three situations to reveal his glory. He saw another person who was blind, deaf and dumb. And he went to this person and put one of his fingers into his ear and turned it immediately and said: "hear what people say, hear what people say!" Why did he do that? (Mark Chapter 7 verses 33 to 35)

And so people are endowed with different gifts. You should not criticize whatever somebody directs that you should do, that is how he has been gifted by God. He says that you should go and touch a certain herb that was created by God himself, which means if he has not directed you to go there, then God might not be glorified through that herb. If you now sit down to criticize, and say that this leaf is not God, and that this tree is not God, what are they? Who created them? There is a certain herb if you make a liquid out of it and put into your eyes you receive your sight immediately. You can come across somebody who is completely blind, and you take a herb and squeeze the liquid out of it and drop it into his eyes and he can see. Whereas youhave fasted, prayed and have put the holy oil, and have done everything possible to heal the blindness but without success. Then the Father directs that you should go to a certain leaf, pluck it and put the liquid into his eyes so that he will see. If you do it, and he receives his sight, who has caused him to receive his sight? But you stay back and begin to comment and argue that Brotherhood does not indulge in preparation of concoction, we only pray.

And I want you at this instance of blindness to pray and prove your work. It can be compared to a situation in which you have two wives in the house. You have prepared houses for two of them and you have done everything for them. One of them prepares food for you and you eat it. The other prepares and you refuse to eat. What is it that you are doing? Tomorrow this one prepares food for you, and you eat the food and refuse to eat that of the other woman. Can you examine whether your brains are correct? Why did you marry that one, and why did you give housekeeping money to her? That is why there is a time table made. This one will prepare food on Monday, the other one will prepare food on Tuesday, the other one will prepare on Thursday, and so the situation is balanced.

God is good and merciful. It only takes faith in God for you to receive His favor and blessings. Recall that when Abraham and Isaac got to the alter, Isaac asked his father about the sacrificial ram. Abraham told his son Isaac that God would provide for Himself the sacrificial ram. True to Abraham’s faith, just before Isaac was to be slaughtered a ram from nowhere was provided in place of Isaac. Which ram do you think was provided here? It was the ram that Abel sacrificed to God. In short the ram was Abel incarnate.Do you know that as you are sitting down here you are connected with various elements? You are connected with leaves of trees. You are connected with the roots of trees. You are connected with stones. You are connected with all other things. And so if you condemn all these elements, you have condemned yourself. Do you remember when King Hezekiah suffered from the boil, and was nearly dead. (2nd Kings Chapter 20 verses 1 to 7) And God sent Prophet Isaiah to go to tell him that he should get his house prepared because he was going to die. And he turned his face towards the wall and wept bitterly. He prayed to God: "remember what I had done for You at the prime of my youth, therefore use that in saving me." And God remembered what he had done for Him at the prime of his youth and sent back Isaiah to tell him that He h

God remembers that he had created all these things and since they are connecting with people they must also be used.

Remember that there is only one injunction in this Kingdom of God. And that injunction is, walk by the spirit. Any person who is led by the spirit, has he committed any mistake? If the spirit directs that he should go and pluck that leaf and use the liquid to spray a person; and if he does it, has he made a mistake? That is why I always tell you to come here and receive teachings from me, because when you find people doing certain things you feel they are troublesome fellows.

Now that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit has come what do you think is going to bind together or sweep away the things of the world, and did he not create them? And that is why I want you to remain quietly with absolute humility, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit has come and this is the end of time. Each person has to operate with whatever gift God has endowed him with. The second lesson will now be read.

Second Bible Lesson: Ephesians 4:11
"And he gave some Apostles; and some Prophets; and some Evangelists; and some Pastors and Teachers."

Brethren, have you heard what has been read to you? As He distributes His gifts to people, so can He withdraw these gifts to Himself. And you will see that He has withdrawn powers from leaves, from herbs, from barks of trees. And so if you go to speak to the tree it will not answer, or speak to the leaf it will not answer. If you speak to anything you will not receive an answer because He has withdrawn all these gifts. What is the use anymore now that the owner has arrived!

As he has said in one of the parables, that a certain person wanted to travel out and so he called on his stewards and gave the first five talents, to the other he gave two and to the third he gave one. And when he was out, during his sojourn the person who was given five talents went and traded with it. And had five other talents on top of it. The one who was given one dug up the ground and buried it. When the master returned the man who was given five talents brought a profit of five. And he was given a large city to rule over. The one who was given two had a profit of two and was given a city to rule over. The person who was given one who had buried it in the ground came and said, "I always fear you; that was why I collected the one talent because you only harvest where you do not plant." And the man said: "take that one away from him." (Matthew Chapter 25 verse 28) If you had allowed it, I would have given it to another person and he would have brought much profit. That one was taken and given to those who had made much profit; and he was thrown into utter darkness.

It was not given that an angel should guard, or should protect, or should rule over a man. All these things came to pass because of some certain circumstances. Rather it was man who had to rule and had to protect man. As we have now, the soldiers are meant to protect us. It was exactly the same thing that happened. Because Adam and Eve had eaten the forbidden fruit, the angels were brought in to rule and to protect. (Genesis Chapter 3 verse 24) The army was kept to protect and tackle other set of persons coming to fight and cause commotions. But now they are ruling and they have become your masters. At first the angels were kept as soldiers to protect man. They were meant to be messengers between God and man, but they were not made to rule over man. But unfortunately they came into a situation where they were kept to continue to protect and rule until He comes. And now that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit has come, He has taken over.

Right now it is not expedient to go to the necromancer. What is he going to do for you? You want to go to the medical doctor. What is he going to do for you? Or to pluck leaves or to dig up roots of trees or to do anything. The Father has come Himself and He has distributed His gifts to every person. It does not, therefore, serve any useful purpose to go and consult these persons whereas the Father has distributed these gifts to you. The time for mermaid, idol-worship, necromancers, diabologies, or ghosts and apparition, or juju, has passed. This is the time of God, and it is correctly said that God's time is the best. So now all the types of knowledge and wisdom you have acquired in order to be able to operate in the world, cheating and defrauding and all these things are worthless. All these things have been removed from you by God, and that has been your most important problem. Institutions set up in the world, like schools where falsehood, killings, stealing, and defrauding and all sorts of things are taught, have, right now, been suspended.

The Father has come Himself and He has set up a school. He is the only person who rules. That rule is not in your hand. He has distributed gifts to every person. And every person must continue to operate within the precinct of that gift given to him. You have heard that death and hades, and ocean had been thrown away into fire burning with brimstone. (Revelation Chapter 20 verse 14) You have also heard the tabernacles of God are with man, He will be your God and you will be to Him a people. It is also said there will be no more death, there will be no more sorrow, there will be no more weeping or crying,(Revelation Chapter 21 verses 3 to 5) because the former things have passed away and everything has been made a new. Write that these words are faithful and worthy of acceptance. Therefore that situation you witness cannot be brought about by leaves of trees, or roots of trees, or barks of trees or any other thing. It is God Himself who has come down. He has distributed these gifts, and he has caused everything to happen in the world. There will be no death, there will be no sickness, there will be no sorrow, there will be nothing at all in the world.

Don't be angry because the Russians, and the Americans and others are manufacturing weapons of war. It is only due to fear of the unknown. Don't be angry because somebody is indulging in the preparation of concoction, or somebody owning juju, stealing, and doing all other things. It is because of the fear of death and also of the unknown. The wisdom of truth is reigning now and every person is now taken to the wisdom of truth. He has also endowed people throughout the world with his power. He has also distributed the gift of love, the spirit of love, to all the inhabitants of the world. He has given life wherever there is no life; and it is said: "let there be life and there is life." Don't doubt if you come across somebody who does not believe in God. Just that he has been made so. Believe God because the gift had been distributed and therefore, you don't have to doubt anything you see again in the world. What is very surprising about the people of the world is that, if somebody has been lying sick for the past twenty years, he has initiated himself into the various secret societies for the past twenty years and yet he is still sick, but once he is brought here, and the utterance: "let thanks and glory be given to God," is made, the person becomes well. That is why the people of the world have become so much amazed, surprised and dumbfounded.

You have heard about that American medical officer, he is a Professor in medical sciences in Washington, D.C. The wife underwent a surgical operation about nine years ago and till now the place is still bleeding and the woman has been taken to all specialist hospitals everywhere. The husband himself is a professor of medicine and nothing can be done to stop the bleeding. But just after they have been baptized into Brotherhood for two weeks only, a vision was given to the wife to come to Calabar to see the Holy Father. And the wife argued that for the past ten years she had not entered an aeroplane but because of that vision given to her she prepared a passport and believed and came down to see the Father. When she came here she didn't say anything, and I didn't ask her anything. And when she came I was only told she came from America. I took her in, after the prayer I took her everywhere and told her to go finally, that everything was well with her. As she went back she was healed of bleeding. And so she went back to America testifying(authors)! The husband, a professor of medicine, asked her what the Father had done to her. She said the Father didn't do anything, and that he did not even ask whether she was sick, so he became very surprised. Then he asked the wife again: "tell me, what did that Father give to you?" She said:"He didn't give anything to me, apart from praying and telling me to go, that everything is well."

It was because of this that the husband who is a Ghanaian, last year paid his transport together with that of his son and came here to see that type of power which has healed the mother. And during the Pentecostal Assembly the professor was made a prophet and the wife was made a prophetess. The Apostle who came here from America you have heard the testimony he gave that what the Father has used that professor for, you cannot describe. He prays for a blind person to see and is able to heal many sicknesses. Can you see how God can manifest himself to people? That professor has carried water, has carried oil, and he can compare the weight of oil and water.

A black person will not want to do away with the tradition of his father. Whether it is good or bad he will want to die with it. That is what is killing the Africans. They know for sure that there is nothing like ghost or apparition, or mermaid or any of these things. These things have been taken away and the Father has given gifts to every person. The time of that foolishness has long passed. Since the Father has come in, He has distributed His gifts to every person in the world, and that is why there is so much commotion in the world. Your problem is that when you have been endowed with a small gift of vision, you begin to puff up, you feel that that is all you should have, you forget that there are other gifts. But right now there is only one vineyard. There must be unity in that vineyard. There must be unity amongst us. We have to come in here. Bring your gift. A necromancer will bring in his own, a professor will bring in his own, and you will bring in yours also. You will bring in your gifts into this vineyard. It is only when the other gift you carry from the world is no more workable that is the time you can condemn it.

Don't forget this one thing. Before our Lord Jesus Christ heals any person he will ask him: "what is it that you want me to do for you?" Because each of us is a master, and unless you accept anything it cannot work on you. If any person argues that he was induced by somebody to kill his father that is not true. He killed the father by himself. No person can argue that it is another person who induced him to steal. No person can induce you to steal; you only love to steal because you have listened to somebody discussing something about stealing, breaking into people's houses, how you can be rich overnight, and you decided by yourself to go and steal. After all you cannot force even your small boy to take what he would not want to take. The only thing is that, man is very crafty and cunning, if he wants to convince the other person, he will bring in some tricks in order to be able to display certain things to convince the other person. This is broad daylight and if you make an attempt to catch any fowl you may not be able to do so. The best thing you will have to is that you have to introduce a trick. Go and buy maize and then take out the seeds and throw them down, and you will attract the cock. That is the time you can catch the fowl.

This is the time of our Lord Jesus Christ. You therefore, have to make good use of the gift of God bestowed on you. God does His things in stages. This good news is not received by every person at the same time because God brings everything to completion gradually. Right now people are arguing that it is witchcraft, that it is mermaid, it is apparition, it is this or that because they cannot see or understand how simple prayers should be offered, and then somebody becomes well. So they do not believe. Others argue that they are able to do the work of healing because they have developed themselves to a certain stage. How can you develop yourself? Right from the moment you accept, confess your sins, and are taken into the water for baptism outright, if your gift is that of healing, you will start there inside the water, if it is that of vision you will receive it inside there, if it is that of preaching, you will begin to preach from the water, and that is exactly how God has chosen to do His things. Among the Apostles, only James, John and Peter could plead with God in order to obtain the gift of the Holy Spirit for those who had been baptized (Acts 8:14 - 16). But now with the advent of the Father, things have changed.

Don't punish yourself any longer; and don't be jealous of any person. As you sang that spiritual chorus; which one is your gift? Examine yourself properly; and once you know it, use it in the way it was meant to be used. I don't want to take you further than this. The golden text will now be read.

"And God hath set some in the church, first Apostles, secondly Prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, diversities of tongues."

Brethren have you heard that? There is no type of illness which cannot be cured. There is no problem that the Father cannot solve. There is no type of problem that the Father cannot take away. The problem is that He does not bestow all these gifts unto one person alone. He gives certain gifts to one person in one way. He also gives to another person. But with you here if somebody heals you, you will say that that person does not use the gift in Brotherhood. He has introduced some other things.

Remember that blind man who was healed by our Lord Jesus Christ? The people said if that miracle was performed on a Sabbath day, he did not come from God. And that blind man said, I have listened to a very wonderful thing, I have never heard that God listens to the prayers of sinners. (John Chapter 9 verse 25) But whenever you reverence God, and do His will, God listens to your prayers. Right now you have made the blind to see, the lame to walk, the dumb to speak, and the leper to be cleansed. But people say it is the demon which has done all these things. If they are all healed, then they are not healed by demon but by God. About what should we quarrel? If it is the demon that gives life and heals the sick and gives life to the blind, and does many other things, then we should not quarrel about anything. And the Bible says, satan sins from the beginning of time. If it is now that satan seems to begin to heal the sick, to give life, to do many other good things, it is therefore not satan but God that is doing all these things.

You should stop forthwith from your flippancy. You have disturbed so many people who have been given gifts by God. If somebody sees something here you allege it is something else, and so most of these visioners cannot come out to give their visions. Some of them are hiding their own gifts because they are scared of your loose talk. A great many people have been endowed with certain gifts. Like somebody in Port Harcourt, a situation where somebody who had been reduced to skin and bones was healed, yet he refused to show it to any person for the good of others. Instead, the healer stays in his house, and collects money for himself selfishly. This is going on everywhere in the world now. God has endowed His gifts to so many people. That of the midwife, that of manufacturing electric bulbs and other things. But they feel these gifts are their bonafide property, and the property of their own family and they use it for their own living alone.

Last month, on the 25th of May, the miracle worker at Akim (Pastor Essien) went to Biakpan. Whe n he arrived there they reported that somebody had been dumb for the past 7 years, and was brought before him, and he was healed , and he spoke. Another person was brought. He had been dumb for the past 22 years, and today the person is speaking. When the healer departed, after three days there, people started weeping because many who suffered from various ailments were brought in from very many places. But because he stayed there for three days only, they could not be healed since he had left. Indeed, right now the people there at Biakpan are looking for him. You are aware of what happens at Akim, even when medical doctors go there, the X-ray and every revelation given to them are exactly true. We have so many people here in this Kingdom with such great gifts. It was on a day he wanted to attend a ballroom dance that he was caught by the Father, and that gift was bestowed upon him. When Pastor Essien came out from the Biafran enclave, he came in as a blind person with his beard growing down to his knee. He was brought here as an animal, and was only shaven here. At that time he did not know anything, but soon after that he was made a prophet and he started asking, what he was going to do. These gifts are bestowed upon you by God himself. And this is the fullness of time when you should take out your gifts, and display them to others who have not received the same gift.

Essien of Akim will go to America and so also will others who are bestowed with these gifts. They will also go out to various places and you have to go out and display these gifts to those who are not as fortunate as yourself. These gifts have been bestowed unto you. Like Christ Student Ukong, the father of songs here, Christ Servant Emah preaches to any person even who did not believe, in God to believe. And so is every other person bestowed with this gift; but you tend to keep these to yourselves. You keep it to yourself as your bonafide property. I don't know what is wrong with you.

I want you to argue with me now that you have been bestowed with a gift or that you have not received that gift, but now you want to puff up and boast that it is your bonafide property. Do you remember when you were crying and roaming about in the world? At that time what were you able to do? But right now, since you have been bestowed with that gift, see how you are hiding and hoarding it to yourself alone.

There is no person in Brotherhood, who has not been bestowed with a gift. From the day you are baptized, faith has been given to you. Sister Ebong for example, she did not come here as a visioner, she did not come here as a healer, but she came here as a sick person. They had spent all the money they used to have in treating her but there was no way. But the day she was brought to Eton Street every problem was solved. She became a visioner. That gift was given to her by God, but now it appears as if it is her bonafide property. I once asked the interpreter how he was performing in school in the English Language and he said, he used to perform very poorly; and so I asked, how do you come about speaking fluent English now; and he says it is the Father doing His work. You are also true witnesses to the fact that he used to wear glasses before he read anything but on one fine day some years ago I called him to read a certain letter and he went back to bring his glasses. I said, "what about your eyes? Go and throw away the broken bottles, now I have opened your eyes." And from that day his eyes were opened.

God has arranged everything in his house and kept them in their ship shape order. He has placed some as Apostles, has placed some as miracle workers, has placed some Pastors, has placed some wealthy people who give out wealth, and has placed some as administrators. You are looking for songs, but you don't want preaching of the word of God. And I want to ask you if you are complete, if these two things will do everything for you? Despise not little things. What about food? What about transportation? What about other things? All these things must be brought together. And God has done one thing. Those who are visioners have no money. They have no transport money. Those who extract charms have no transport money. But those who don't see anything no matter how large it is, they have money. They can pay their transport to Lagos, New York and other places. What are they going to do there? What are you going to do there, since you cannot see anything?

Some years ago the Pastors went to Rome and they passed through the streets with their big coats, with their fluent English language and they did not do anything, so they came back here. You should look for these miracle workers, the visioners, or those who extract charms, and bring them together and send them out with others in the ministry for effective results. Many people will be gathered there and their fame will be raised abroad. These brethren and those who speak so well are also useful. When there are certain situations or occasions where they should go and speak that is where they should go and speak. At one time I directed the Pastors to go to Abribba. You know that the Abribba people are very wealthy people.They have cars, houses and very many things; so I told the Pastors to go there with their cars and queue, and display their wealth, cars and everything there. Luckily for them that was the time the Abribba people had their own celebration. As Pastors went there, they were surprised; and where they normally don't allow any stranger to enter their village, they said Brotherhood should enter because all churches are one.

Therefore, Brethren, stop criticizing. Allow every person to go about with his own gift. But if you cannot see, be satisfied with what gift God has given to you. If you cannot see that small beauty God has given to you, that handsomeness God has given to you, remember that that voice God has given to you is sufficient for you. It was through that lame man at the Beautiful Gate that the word of God spread to all nooks and corners, even into places where the name of our Lord Jesus Christ was forbidden. (Acts 3 : 6). It was because people knew he was a lame man, but since it was through Christ's name that he was healed of his lameness, every person accepted the word of God everywhere. And so you should realize that even a sick person has a gift which can be an impressive manifestation so that people can be changed unto God. Right now we have to rearrange everything.

If you look amongst the Christ Students you will find a Lazarus, somebody who dies and after four days he is resurrected again. Amongst them also you have the lame ones. Amongst the congregation you have the barren ones; and the rest of the people and the se are the ones who have to go out to give testimonies about what God has done for them. You have never been placed in such a situation. What testimonies are you going to give? Do you think that if you preach to the so-called big men they will listen to you? But if a small boy goes to preach to them, they will listen and say:"look at that small boy how well he is preaching." For that alone, they will listen to him. God has not bestowed this glory to one person. He keeps all the glory to Himself and therefore, we have to reorganize ourselves now, and allow each person to operate with his own gift.

As you stay inside the bethel don't ring the bell and say: "every person must keep quiet because I built this bethel; it belongs to me. " How many other gifts do you have? There must be division of labour. Each person to his own way; and we all bring our gifts together and that is how the kingdom of God works. If you begin now to mention the various interpreters, one of the interpreters (Pastor Essien-Umoh) will be mentioned among the first. In gospel writing the same thing will happen. But now I want you to ask him where is his gift. I want every person to be satisfied with whatever God has given to him. Bring it out because practice makes perfect.

And so with the amalgamation of all the gifts, we are able to do something in the Kingdom of God.

Right now those who have been endowed with the gift of getting money have known their work. They have known their gift; and they have started to work with that gift. But those who have been endowed with spiritual gifts keep it to themselves, and they go and commercialize it. If you go there, they will say that the Father says bring 2000 Naira , or bring 1000 Naira, or build a house for me. This means that they do not know what type of gift God has endowed them with.

You should now realize that if you joke with the endowment of God, it will be taken away from you and given to another person. You didn't bring any money into the world or this place. A great many people who are endowed with the gift of money want to preserve it only for themselves.

And so, Brethren, it is said that one stroke of the cane is sufficient for the wise. I do not wish to be tedious unto you. Those who have ears let them hear. May God Bless His Holy Words. THANK YOU FATHER.
